How numbers get onto this site, and how they get corrected.

Sourcing

Every threshold on this site names its source, down to the row: the letter scale cites the College Board's published conversion table, and the two rows where common university practice differs from it (D and D−) say so explicitly instead of borrowing the citation. A number we cannot source does not ship — that rule has already cost us content, and it stays.

Review

The scale and the formulas are reviewed before each academic term (August and January). The “Updated” date on each page reflects its last substantive review, not cosmetic edits.

Corrections

Corrections outrank new content. If you show us a school or state where our numbers mislead, we fix the data or add the caveat — tell us.

Independence

No school, test-prep company or lender pays for placement on this site. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the page where it happens.
